About Confederation Hockey

Confederation Hockey is one of the largest minor hockey clubs in Edmonton, serving southwest area communities with over 50 teams in the Initiation 1A, Initiation 2A, Novice, Atom, PeeWee, and Bantam categories.

Their mission is to provide a quality hockey program for youngsters ages 4 to 14, that emphasizes basic hockey skills, and personal development and life skills, including effective work habits, thinking skills, positive self-esteem, teamwork, fair play, discipline, fun and enjoyment of the game. Confederation Hockey club is operated entirely by volunteers.

FIELD HOCKEY

Indoor Programs 2009 - 2010
FHA EJP programs for the indoor season for 2009/2010, includes under 6, under 8, under 10 and under 12 programs. All experiences welcome.  If you have never picked up a stick, this is a great way to start something new and exciting!! Indoor hockey is a sport combining the fitness of soccer and the finesse of ice hockey, very similar to indoor soccer and ice hockey, with just 6 players on the court at a time, including 1 goal keeper. All programs are introductory for beginners and experienced players alike. Fun and learning atmosphere is promoted by our coaches and parents involved within the program while incorporating skill development and during modified games. Come join the fun!!

For all programs soccer shin pads and a mouth guard are mandatory to participate and to be covered under insurance. All other equipment (sticks/balls/goalie equipment) will be provided at each session.
